During preparing quotations from publications of various authors with references to the works of V.I. Deshcherevsky, already in the preliminary search, we had to deal with 5 types of transliteration of the surname Deshcherevsky into Latin, plus two types of transliteration of initials. The most common type of transliteration was Descherevsky V.I. – 4 times from 11; 3 times of 11 the transliteration Deshcherevskii V.I. was obtained; two times it turned Deshcherevsky V.I.; Desherevsky and Deshcherevski were each used once, and one time we’ve found Deshcherevskii V. That’s why in the citations below the way of transliteration in each case is specified in the additional line. The surname in the citing author’s text is highlighted in bold print.
